Hangzhou: Rapha Worldwide Challenge Day 4

The gap between the rich and poor is evident in this photo...

The good weather continues here in Hangzhou (7 degrees) and I clocked up 115kms towards the Rapha Festive 500 Challenge. Total distance is now 373/500 and have 127kms remaining.  I did not take as many photos today as I was more focused on getting in some quality miles.  However, the scenery today was not as good as previous days so not much was missed.  Nonetheless, what I did stop and shoot actually turned out to be worth sharing…

I spent the best part of an hour riding in crazy traffic; constant stream of buses, trucks, cars, bicycles and those infuriating electric scooters were all in my way.  Pedestrians are also quite dangerous with their illogical crossing road habits.  Once I got out of Hangzhou-Yuhang and into the country, the roads were much better to ride on.

My Chinese late lunch - rice and shredded pork (yuxiang rousi), enough energy to get me home!
